The Open Learning Initiative (OLIve) at Central European University invites applications for a part-time (20 hrs/ week) Administrative Assistant position.

Duties and responsibilities:

The candidate will work closely with the OLIve Program Manager on day-to-day administrative tasks related to the OLIve Weekend Program, a Saturday educational program for refugees and asylum seekers.  Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Communication with students
  • Communicating and coordinating with teachers
  • Communicating and coordinating with relevant CEU offices
  • Class scheduling

 As OLIve WP runs on Saturdays, the successful candidate should be able to allocate part of her/his working hours to that day.

  Qualifications:

  •  Administrative work experience
  • University education to BA level or higher
  • Knowledge of OLIve and CEU administrative structures will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel)

 Compensation

We offer a competitive salary that is commensurate with experience as well as a dynamic and international academic environment. The initial contract is to June 30, 2018 with the possibility of renewal.
