Alumni Records Coordinator

CEU seeks a full-time Alumni Records Coordinator to join its Alumni Relations Office in Budapest, Hungary. The incumbent will provide leadership for the unit’s data management system as well as assist the Alumni Relations Office and other units which engage alumni, in particular, Career Services and Student Recruitment, to develop and maintain data management processes related to alumni constituents and utilize shared CRM (currently Raiser’s Edge) in support of university-wide goals and functions.   

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Operate and maintain the Raiser's Edge database (or, other CRM, as and when   appropriate), including data entry, data import and export, reporting and overall alumni records management.  
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
  • Support various campaigns (e.g. fundraising appeals and communication blasts)   as required.
  • Provide end-user training and support and oversee user accounts/groups across CEU.
  • Collaborate with other CEU staff members in the development of data requirements and joint processes.   
  • Provide relevant CEU staff with accurate data required to perform their various duties in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Trouble shoot and problem solving to maintain integrity of all data.  
  • Serve as a liaison to internal and external data proprietors (e.g. Blackbaud, IT, Student Records Office). 
  • Develop and implement data-related policies.
  • Review database systems related processes, including the monitoring of issues and improvement suggestions and logs.  
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by the Head of Alumni Relations or VP for Enrollment, Careers & Alumni Relations.  

 Qualifications & experience: 

  • 1 to 3 years' experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified. 
  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields is a plus.  
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.   
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. 
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop appropriate solutions.  
  • Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures. 

 Compensation 

We offer a competitive salary that is commensurate with experience as well as a dynamic and international academic environment. The initial contract is for one year with the possibility of renewal.
